  •  Popcorn & Pedagogy discussion, Rutgers University-Camden, Fall 2019. This was a group discussion of Rutgers-Camden faculty members titled “Reaching Struggling Students”. The purpose of the meeting is to share questions and experiences between faculty on different topics such as what do we mean when we talk about student engagement? What do we mean when we say a student has disengaged? What does this mean for different student populations? Why might students choose to disengage? What is the responsibility of the professor vs. the student when a student is disengaged?

The main aim of the meeting is to discuss how discussion board can facilitate online learning.
